The holiday season is about to jump-off. There’re ‘Black Friday’ sales all over the place. Between holiday concerts and showbiz Award events, artists are getting ready to bring their A-game. Maybe some should look to @Adele & @Pharrell for how they make passion seem effortless and collaboration look priceless.

Pharrell hosted the ‘Shining a Light’ concert and Adele did the Today Show. She once said in a memorable quote “I make music to be a musician not to be on the cover of Playboy.” That’s key for those who wonder why some people get more ‘play’ on the job, or thanks from mgmt for customer service work.

When performing she does it with ease and he with ‘executive swag.’ Their music connects with the masses without feeling mass-produced. Their performances and press appearances have enough vision to serve a broader mission but enough ‘play’ to get the creative juices flowing and fans cheering.

They have something in common off stage and behind the scenes. It’s a kind of quirky cool that as kids might have been picked-on by others. But their success tells us that a quirk doesn’t make someone a jerk as long as it’s put to good use at work. Quirks can be an asset, becoming part of our working facet.

Many love the fact that no matter how high-up in job title or on the pop music charts, they’re still relatable to everyday people. That common touch helps Adele boost airplay and album sales and attracts emerging artists to him on The Voice. Adele and Pharrell are at their best when they’re like one of us.

Holiday season about to be poppin’. Black Friday sales to start the shoppin’. Between concerts and Hollywood Award shows. That’s kinda how this season flows. Where artists A-game gets moving. And concert fans get grooving. Adele and Pharrell make it effortless. With collabs that are simply priceless.

Hosted ‘Shining a Light’ fundraiser. He was a sure crowd pleaser. Adele had Today Show audience packed. She draws a crowd, that’s a fact. Once said musicianship is her thing. Not trying to be a Playboy fling. That’s key for getting more ‘play’ at work. Or thanks from mgmt as a good customer service clerk.

When they’re in action it’s a thrill. With ease they execute their skill. Music that connects with the masses. Good for clinging the champagne glasses. Performance and appearance with enough vision. To achieve a broader service mission. Enough ‘play’ and creative juices running. And fans at their loudest humming.

Something in common off stage. Behind the scenes or from a young age. Kind of quirky cool as a kid. Maybe picked-on so they hid. But a quirk doesn’t make you a jerk. As long as it’s put to good use at work. Becoming a secret weapon or hidden asset. Also part of your biz brand facet.

Many love that no matter how high. Job title and music charts isn’t their why. They still come across really relatable. To showbiz execs and everyday people. A common touch in what they do. Helps boost sales and attract artists too. At their best when in their lane. They’re one of us even with the mundane.

Justin Bieber says he’s in a new space. Drew Barrymore can relate. Last month Barrymore released the book Wildflower full of essays on her childhood. This month Bieber released his fourth album. Her book and his album are like ‘purpose’ projects for moving performance from ‘back then’ to ‘best ever’ yet!

Bieber in his ‘rebirth’ tells Billboard Magazine “It’s hard to make meaningful songs that make you want to dance because it can come off cheesy…I want my music to be inspiring.” He and Barrymore realize that as purpose flows in the veins of your project, work performance rocks to the beat of a different drummer.

The buzz is out on the album especially after he released 13 videos on Friday November 13th. His new music shows us how beat and bounce that come with ‘Purpose’ brings a new voice. This bigger voice has given his music passions a new stride and pop culture style. So purpose can dress things up differently.

His rebound is also about learning from past mistakes and moving forward in grace. The music has a new vibe that brings ‘swizzle’ which is like adding soul with your sizzle. Maybe he’s seen a caterpillar transform into a butterfly so he’s using purpose for achieving new breakaway highs to feeling blessed.

Bieber’s working on a mega world tour. Barrymore’s spreading her wings further. It’s as if with purpose in the mix comes new vision for getting past fears and leading fans to shift gears. They know whether in a butterfly, a flower or your wildest dreams, if purpose gets all up in it there’re more chances to shine.

Bieber says he’s in a new space. Drew Barrymore knows that place. She released book Wildflower last month. Full of childhood essays without the front. Bieber drops fourth album project. Filled with electric sounds and nugget. Using ‘Purpose’ to take a bet. Going from ‘back then’ to ‘best ever’ yet.

His rebirth fully on the way. Tells Billboard the music has something to say. Hard to make meaningful songs that pop. Can come off cheesy next to Hip-Hop. Wants music to inspire hope. Not only having tracks that’s dope. They realize as purpose flows in veins. Performance rocks to different drummer reins.

Buzz is out from on-air studio. Especially after November 13th video. New music shows how beat and bounce. Comes flowing with purpose ounce by ounce. A bigger voice in passion and stride. Grown-up flair that’s wicked and wild. So purpose can dress things up in its own style.

His rebound also about learning. From past mistakes and juvenile yearning. Music with a new vibe and ‘swizzle.’ By adding soul with the sizzle. As seen in caterpillar that transforms. Into butterfly and new norms. Using purpose for a new breakaway. And feeling blessed about life every day.

Bieber working on mega world tour. Hopes to pull the rich and help the poor. While Barrymore’s spreading her wings and allure. Purpose gives new vision for getting past fears. And watching global fans shift gears. Whether butterfly, flower or wildest dreams. When purpose up in it lots more happy screams.

Who says you have to be young to be a Bond girl or a Hollywood icon to score a Latin hit? That’s what some are thinking after weekend releases on the big screen and Broadway. It’s a case of James Bond movies and Gloria Estefan music having twists and turns for the best of times with the stuff of dreams.

The Broadway show is Estefan’s Cuban-American story. She tells Hollywood Reporter “We wanted to succeed with who we were, because if you succeed, you’re gonna be doing it the rest of your life, so you better like it!” Basically, pack some flavor in your craft, watch what happens to passion after the first draft.

The first Bond movie was Dr. No. The first English-language song by Estefan was Dr. Beat. Interestingly, she was told ‘no’ by a record executive who felt a crossover Latin artist was impossible. Her story reminds us that to keep the dream alive means staying on your feet, proving things and turning the beat around.

She didn’t take ‘no’ as final, keeping focus on her Miami Sound Machine. She even had to bounce back from a tour bus accident. That didn’t stop her reaching higher and making the hits hotter. She feels focus has given the universe reasons to conspire to help her dreams, so that things meant to happen, happen.

Bond movies and Estefan’s music are buzz worthy for their drive to the end, leaving room for a little playtime. Along the way there’re surprise moments that bring goosebumps or empowers ‘oomphs.’ No wonder the Bond franchise keeps rolling in dough and Estefan’s story is good enough for its own show.

Gotta be young as a Bond girl? Or icon to score hits in Latin world? What some might be thinking today. After releases on big screen and Broadway. Case of James Bond franchise movies. And Gloria Estefan salsa groovies. With twists and turns on the A/V reams. The best of times and the stuff of dreams.

Broadway show her Cuban-American background. In mainstream from the underground. Tells Hollywood Reporter about wanting success. To reflect being at her best. Living what it brings in name. Liking what it does for the fame. Basically, pack some flava in your craft. Watch how passion rocks after first draft.

First Bond movie was Dr. No. That one made everything go. Her first English song was Dr. Beat. Told by record exec she can’t compete. As crossover artist not even possible. ‘Cause her music not so relatable. Story reminds us all to keep the dream alive. Stay on your feet proving things and that’s no jive.

Didn’t take ‘no’ as final say. Kept focus on Miami Sound Machine play. Had to bounce back from bus tour crash. Not something she likes to rehash. Didn’t stop her from reaching higher. Or from making hits even hotter. She feels focus gives universe reasons to conspire. So that things happen for which we aspire.

Bond movies and Estefan music have many fans. For their drive to the end and dancing bands. Along the way there could be goosebumps. Or surprise moments that empower more oomphs. No wonder Bond series keeps rolling in dough. And Estefan story’s good enough for a show.

Lebron James and actress Angela Bassett have been given new crowns. Bassett will debut next month as the first female character in the Rainbow Six Siege video game. James was a crowd favorite for his Halloween costume as Prince. It seems James and Bassett let their guards down to bump their sizzle up.

On movie roles she tells Huff Post “When someone is open enough to show their vulnerability, it gives others the strength and courage to show theirs. It’s not always all about power or the roar.” That’s how the best & brightest use their ‘creative bone’ or act as a superstar clone to shine on the greatness stage.

As he works to be more and do more on the court James shows how to ‘lose yourself.’ He flexes his creative muscle by fast-breaking in his lane. Other times it’s an alter-ego role that’s like fun for the soul. Bassett says playing Tina Turner in What’s Love Got to do with it was the most fulfilling yet most difficult.

To dress-up as Prince, James had to take-off his high top sneakers and put on a jerry-curl wig. To step-up as Tina Turner, Bassett had to walk in the shoes of a person who felt beat-down and un-loved. But the more they’re true to form in their role as athlete or actress, the more they experience the sweet spot.

‘Top 10 Weekly’ says James won’t get an Oscar or Grammy any time soon. But Prince gave him props for keeping it real. It’s not every day a 6ft-9 superstar is seen air-playing the guitar. We look-up to them as role models in their game because they come ready to be in the flow and put on a show.

Lebron James and Angela Bassett big in their towns. These days they’ve been given new crowns. She debuts next month as first-time chick. In Rainbow Six Siege video-game flick. James a Halloween fav in Prince hair and flash. Letting their guards down to bump up sizzle and cash.

Bassett says her vulnerability is key. People see what they get and get what they see. Gives strength and courage for others to be. Open enough to show their humanity. Not always all about power and might. Or roar of a street fight. Best and brightest use ‘creative bone.’ Shine on greatness stage as superstar clone.

He just works to be and do more. As he keeps raising his box score. Shows how to ‘lose yourself’ is good. On the court or in the ‘hood. Flexes creative muscle in fast-break lane. With dunks that’s on another plane. Other times in alter-ego role. It’s like fun for the soul. Bassett as Tina Turner her most fulfilled poll.

James as Prince in taking-off high top shoes. Bassett as Turner in relationship blues. His act meant wearing a jerry-curl wig. Hers meant needing a hole to dig. But being true to form in their showbiz game. Is what helps make them a household name. They experience the ‘sweet spot’ almost the same.

‘Top 10 Weekly’ says no for James reaching the moon. Or for Oscars and Grammys anytime soon. Prince gave props for keeping it real. A sense for how others did feel. Not every day we see a 6ft-9 superstar. Rocking-out on his air-guitar. They come ready to be in the flow. And set to put on their best show.
